They aren’t lying the grip on these things is fantastic. Fit I had to go half size up and we’re perfect after a foot swell during a long race. The only reason I can’t 5 star this is drainage. It was some of the worse I’ve experienced while doing Spartan races.I thought these were a bit too small at first donning. But...I found on the trail - these feel like a second skin. And after a few runs, the 'snug-ness' is largely not an issue. I found out these are made in Korea, which was a plus (for me). I'm quite satisfied and will likely purchase another model of VJ's.The shoe seemed nice however I prefer a wider toe box so I did not keep.
