I ordered the size 11 EE wide shoe. I have been wearing flat tennis shoes based on 1970s-80s designs for years because I like the 0-4mm drop while I play tennis: Nike Court Classic, Adidas Nastase, Adidas Stan Smith, K-Swiss classic, and others like that. I finally decided to try a "modern" court shoe when this one came out and I love it. I'm a 41-year-old hard court 4.5 singles player and I have been wearing Merrell Flux Glove Barefoot sneakers off the court for 4 years. Finally on the court I can be as comfortable as I have been off the court with my Merrells. These shoes are light, have excellent traction, are perfect for quick direction changes and short-step footwork. I move pretty lightly and for me heel strike is not a problem in these shoes. With other shoes I always wear out the right toe because I drag it slightly when hitting my forehand--not with this MC60, though. Sizing note: I have a high arch and average width foot. I've never bought an EE width before, but after reading reviews I decided to. The shoes fit fine, but there is a little bit of extra room on the sides. I think these shoes are true to size and the regular D with would've been fine for me. In barefoot shoes your toes are supposed to go all the way to the end of the shoe, and this is something that regular tennis shoes never do, so maybe at first it feels alarming. But be patient. They're supposed to be snug. After 9 hours of singles my feet feel better than they have in years, my toes are not sore, and I have stopped dragging the end of my shoe. I love these.FINALLY! A true minimalist tennis shoe! These play as you'd expect a court shoe to, allowing for quick bursts, stops, and lateral movement. BUT they also provide solid ground feel and with the low heel drop, don't make you feel as though you're playing tennis in high heels. I have been running in and wearing minimalist shoes/huaraches/five fingers for a few years, so I've had no issues playing up to 5 hours in these.A side note: Before going minimalist, I was a chronic ankle roller in tennis, even to the point of fracturing one. I've yet to lose my footing with the MC60v1s.I had to go to the New Balance store to get the right fit. I had the same model the year before, but thanks to re-engineering the same model for the following year it was no problem to return!i like the style of shoe. however the shoe uses plastic instead of leather. i assume this is to keep the weight down. This is a great shoe for racquetball. Most tennis shoes work fine for racquetball with the extra lateral support, etc. I prefer a light shoe and this is a perfect balance of a light shoe and great performance. Since there are so few racquetball shoes that are branded as such, I am glad I gave these a try.I really like these shoes, but they fit very narrow, adding pressure on my 5th metatarsalGreat shoes; I use it when playing pickleball. Will buy a pair again when it is time. Not the fit I want.Good shoes, just a bit rigid at the backToo small...not the size I ordered unfortunately...disappointing as the shoe looks great. Ging super schnell!
