I thought I'd try these because a couple of my pickleball friends love them. It is designed with a two light blue straps across the tongue and under the laces. These straps have no stretch or give to them. For my feet, it caused too much pressure across the top of my feet ( no matter how loose I strung the laces ) that my toes went numb. I cut the straps outs. Much better.Still compared to my K-Swiss Express Lights, I could "feel the court." I play outdoors in Hawaii and it doesn't take long before you feel the heat and hardness of the court. Traction is good, and they look nice.NAIn spite of multiple reviews that said the shoes were too narrow, I believed the manufacture’s “fits as expected” claim. I have small narrow feet, and they are tight. I am also disappointed as they are less well-made than I expected for their cost.Too small… had to be returned. A 9 wide was too small for my 8 and 1/2 wide foot. Good looking shoe. ☹️Every time I play tennis in these my feet ache after. Poor heel and front of foot support.Wish they were better… I’ve worn them about five times and each time my feet hurt worse? I love ASICS for running, for tennis - not so much.I’ve been wearing ASICS gel kayano running shoes for 15 years. My everyday shoe size is a 7 1/2 but I always order an 8 in running shoes. I recently started playing pickleball and wanted some shoes for that. I figured I have a good track record with ASICS so I ordered this pair. Let me state that I have NEVER needed nor ordered a wide shoe. These shoes were far too narrow for my foot. They felt like they would have had good support otherwise, but it squeezed my left foot. So I ordered an 8 wide. Same thing. Truly disappointingCute shoes. Feels a little bit tight at first but I loosened the laces and then they fit perfectly. My foot would not fit in the shoe. It’s so narrow. I don’t even know what size or width to reorder. I have been wearing the Gel Resolutions for years.Love the product and have several Asics runners so was very surprised to find these fit so narrow. The toe box is tight so I returned the regular fit and bought them in a wide fit. I have never worn wide but these fit like a regular width. Material is more like a plastic so my feet do sweat more than a cloth shoe. Overall performance is great though. Good stability and traction without being sticky or slippery. Just remember to order the wide if you normally wear regular width Asics.I play a lot of tennis and have been developing corns on my toes and have found my Nikes too uncomfortable to wear and probably they were the cause of my corns as they are very tight fitting around my toes. These ASICS have lots of room and are very comfortable to wear. My feet are happy again. I read some of the reviews saying how tight fitting they are but ordered anyway and found them to be quite the opposite. I ordered them because I read online that these were one of the top comfort in womens running shoes.I have ordered the Gel resolution 7 shoes earlier in the month. I've wore gel resolution 7 for years. There was an area where the shoe presses in and caused a pressure sore. Since I wore it already, I could not return this pair of shoes. I then decided to try to order this pair of shoe, the Gel resolution 8. The shoe is really narrow and I could not even put my feet in. I did not read the fine print so I didn't know I had to pay for the return shipping. So lesson here is, don't order shoes online. Apparently, not all shoes are made the same. While these shoes are incredibly comfortable on both hard court and clay, there is a defect/problem with the fabric where the seam transitions from rubber/plastic to fabric (at least for this colour/model). You will see in the pictures where the fabric started to fray after only 2 weeks of wearing the shoes.Asics and the vendor have been gracious enough to provide a replacement.Fits narrow, too snug around the foot and the straps to support the foot do not stretch. I ended up cutting the straps to relieve pain
